What a beautiful morning! We went out for a walk on deck to get our steps in. This is such a beautiful ship.

As we were walking, we’d spot whales. I just love watching for wildlife on the days we have at sea. The water was very calm, so easy to spot the blow. We found out that we were seeing Minke whales. They are the smallest of the baleen whales, typically reaching 30 feet. They have a dark grey or black body and white underside. They are curious and often approach boats.

Today was a relaxing day. Used the Nordic Spa and thermal suite for a few hours. It had a large, heated pool with powerful jets and stainless steel loungers. It’s fun to use the pool when there are waves. Used the sauna, steam room and snow grotto. Yes, a room filled with snow. Felt wonderful after coming out of the hot sauna. Also had heated tile loungers that would be a nice place for a nap.

Enjoyed a delicious dinner and look forward to visiting the Faroe Islands tomorrow.
